Q: We are looking for an assisted living home for my 55 year old aunt. She has dementia and can fully dress and bathe herself. We can no longer care for on a daily basis as her medications need to be monitored more and more and her memory lapses are becoming straonger. I am just starting my search so I am not sure what information I am looking for. I do need to know cost, does Medicare, or Medicaid cover some of the costs, does insurance? Q: Looking for a private room. Have a small dog and smoke outdoors. I can do 1,400 out of pocket and the remainder is out of Medicaid. I am currently living in assisted living in Canyon City but want to move near my daughter who lives close to DIA. Want to move no later than August 6.
