**Look up Facility Quality Ratings – Statewide for California – including Bakersfield. This is also an excellent, stand-alone research tool!
Oh my, is this industry confusing (at times). I actually had to navigate the assisted living landscape this past year for my mother-in-law, and even with all of the time I have spent over the years researching assisted living for my site, I was still overwhelmed at times.
I was actually researching care remotely (from another state) for her, and there was no way for me to really get an accurate picture of what the facilities were like in her area.
I finally decided to get help – the exact help that we offer on this page.
The care advisor that worked with me really worked hard to help me figure out which facility was best for my mother-in-law, and what she could afford. She (the advisor) did so much research for us, and saved me a lot of time and aggravation.
This service is free. If you are needing care for yourself or a loved-one in Bakersfield, and need some extra help, we can personally recommend this service. – David.
