We had the wonderful and unique opportunity to visit Ed and Melinda Nava, who own a facility in Longmont. Ed took us around his lovely residential assisted living home, and showed us many of the wonderful features, and explained the benefits (as he sees it) of choosing a smaller assisted living facility over a larger, more corporate-feeling environment.
His home was chock-full of personal touches, and had a wonderful attention to detail. The gardens and landscaping in the front, and backyard gave it a bit of a resort-like feel. The home was outfitted with many safety features, such as ramps in the front and back to make it wheelchair accessible.
Longmont is becoming home to more and more facilities just like Ed and Melinda’s, making Longmont a very attractive, affordable, and practical place to consider for your (or your family member’s) senior care needs.
