Danbury has a great Department of Elderly Services dedicated to improving the quality of life of Danbury citizens who are over 50 years of age. Their programs focus on social, spiritual, physical creative, intergenerational, multicultural and animal/nature aspects. It is the Department’s goal to end boredom, loneliness and helplessness through outreach and referral services, in addition to their numerous program offerings.
