Q: Per the voice mail I left a few minutes ago, I am looking for placement for my mother, who will be 93 in December. She had dementia and is unable to live alone; I have moved her in with me, but that is not a long-term fix, and a friend of hers gave me your number.

She is eligible for Aid and Attendance through the military, but cannot make application till she is in-residence, and it is my understanding this is only for assisted living facilities, not for nursing homes; if this is so, and she is placed in a nursing facility, then she would need to use her Social Security and apply for Medicaid.

I understand that she will need to pay the difference until aid begins, and need to know your services, the cost, how you are classified, etc. - Ramona
