We first learned about Pembroke Pines a few years ago when a woman named Doreen submitted her assisted living facility information with us. We hadn't heard about Pembroke Pines before, so we assumed it was a smaller town in Florida.

Well, we were off a bit on that - turns out Pembroke Pines is a pretty large city - the 2nd most populous in Broward County.
We decided that Pembroke Pines deserved a page of it's own - since there are a lot of seniors living here as well - no doubt due to the beautiful area, lifestyle and weather.

Seniors also have quite a bit of support here in Pembroke Pines - there are a nice selection of assisted living facilities and residences in the area that provide care for many levels and needs - from simple daily living to advanced memory care.

There are "for profit" and "not for profit" facilities in Pembroke Pines as well.

The City of Pembroke Pines also has a section on their site that has some useful information for seniors and the lovely Southwest Focal Point Senior Center - a huge 52,000 square foot facility offering numerous services to the elderly residents of Broward County.
