Interesting questions and comments that we have received about Sunshine Residential and assisted living:
Q: My mother will be moving to Georgia and I am looking for a facility for her to live in. She has been diagnosed with dementia/early stages of Alzheimer's. Do you currently have any availability and do you accept Medicare? May I visit your home?
Q: Does Sunshine Residential take schizophrenics or people not quite 50 yet? I'm asking because the person who needs a lot of care needs assistance with bathing, meals, and medical treatment. - Patricia
Q: What are your rates, for single person and also for a couple? My step-father has dementia and my mother takes care of him at home currently. Eventually they will both need care. I am relocating to the Dacula area and am looking at options for assisted living arrangements. Thank you. - Patti
Q: Hi, I have recently placed my mother in Country Heritage. She seems to be really struggling with the larger facility size. I am looking for a smaller home that cares for dementia patients and that is close to my home so I can still see her often.
Do you accept ccsp/ legacy and do you have a space available? Any referrals of local places if not.
Q: Are Medicare of Medicaid benefits available at your facility? - Mark
Q: Does medicaid help to pay for some patients staying here? I am looking for a place for my mom whom suffers with alz. She would need round the clock care. Thank you.- Laurie
A: No, we are not Medicaid/Medicare provider. We accept only private pay and VA benefits.
