Assisted Living Tidbits:
Assisted Living can be incredibly confusing. Perhaps it is because assisted living is a relatively new concept in health/senior care. Really, does anyone remember assisted living being a common phrase just 20 years ago? Now, since there are more seniors getting ready to retire than ever before, there seem to be an overwhelming number of choices for senior care, and a wealth of information and misinformation about it. Some of the common questions are - what is assisted living; how can I pay for assisted living, and how much does it cost?
In addition, many people are abruptly faced with the need for senior care for a family member - and not given much advanced warning or time to research options, and learn more about it.
That's why we created a page about the confusion surrounding assisted living. If you are feeling overwhelmed, or don't understand what assisted living can do for you - you're not alone!
Great questions and comments we have received about Arlington Place:
Q: Would you please send me your base price information and any additional costs for ADL's, Thank you - Ashley
***In case you were wondering, ADL's are "Activities of Daily Living" and some facilities include all assistance with these in the monthly price, and others add a fee for increased levels of service. It's always smart to ask! - ALD (Assisted Living Directory)
Q: Do you accept Medicaid clients? I am looking for long term care for a female client of mine with progressing Huntington's disease, age 49.
