McIntosh Manor Assisted Living Facility in Vista, California

Your first impression may be that our home appears to be like any other large private residence in San Diego County. However, when you enter our residence, there have been subtle modifications incorporated into the decor, including toilet risers, fold down grab bars, a seat lift, large accessible shower and ramps, while keeping the luxurious feel that our clientele demand and are accustomed to.

We are a licensed RCFE, ‘Assisted Living’ or ‘Board and Care Facility’ for up to twelve elderly residents nestled down an old country road in the magnificent Guajome Fruit Colony of Vista. We have care-givers that live in the facility to provide loving care around the clock.

Services and amenities include, but are not limited to:

Individual personal case, including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting and feeding,
as may be needed.
All meals and snacks. We provide wonderful healthy, nutritious meals with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables from our garden, and all meals times are a time for fun, laughter and socializing.
All family members are encouraged to join your family members at any time and we will assist you to create family gatherings within our home.
One on one attention, and participation in group activities
Arranging and accompanying, if necessary, doctor, dentist and other medical visits.
Managing medications including refilling and pharmacy pick up of medications
Unlimited phone calls, cable TV, internet access
Laundry daily, or as often as is needed.
assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting and feeding, as may be needed.

Daily observation and documentation of resident’s health status

Bedside care for minor temporary illness
Bed Tray meal service for minor temporary illness
Arranged transportation to and from medical and dental appointment. Review health status report with health care providers.
