My name is Lisa. I am 44 and receive SSD. I have been 100% disabled since 2009. Currently I own a home in Sunnyvale CA. I was diagnosed in 2/2002 w/ M.S. I am on COBRA insurance for my Kaiser and no medicare as of yet. I have realized that I honestly I am unable to be the person I was. I think that if I can buy a home in an assisted living community, I can enjoy the rest of my life. I would love to be a responsible home owner w/ an acre or two, but I admit I cannot.

Are there any volunteer opportunities at Gold Country Senior Living Facility for my daughter, Sierra (13 almost 14 year old). She would be able to begin volunteer-work in September, 2011 as I will not be working any longer and would be able to provide transportation for her. Sierra enjoys spending time with people of all ages. She has many talents and traits that would make her a caring and effective Jr. volunteer. What is your monthly fee for a 1 bedroom apartment? Do you offer any facilities for a week or a month stay?
