Thornton Colorado is a lovely place to be a senior. Thornton is located just to the north of the Denver metro area, and by many standards, is much less expensive than many of other Denver suburbs, and Denver proper. Thornton is also mostly to the east of I-25, making it less prone to many of the heavy snowfalls that areas closer to the mountains and foothills might experience. However, you can still see the beautiful Front Range mountains from most spots around Thornton!

The City of Thornton also has a great Senior Center - available to any 55+ seniors or assisted living residents. The Center offers many educational and recreational classes and programs - including exercise classes, trips, and plenty of things to do in the beautiful outdoors of Thornton and the surrounding areas.
