Of the three or four major cities that line the spectacular Front Range of Colorado, Pueblo, to me is the most unique in character. Not a major college town like the other three, life in Pueblo seems to bump down a few notches in terms of hustle and bustle. This may not fit everyone's lifestyle, but for seniors and retirees, it can be appealing More and more seniors are discovering this jewel of southern Colorado.
For our part, we've researched assisted living facilities in Pueblo, and have listed the majority, if not all of them on this page. Our site is different than many, in that we allow our visitors to contact the facilities directly (not all senior sites are straightforward or clear about how they use your information). We also try to highlight local and state agencies and resources to help you to further your research.
Notably, for Pueblo, an important site to keep in mind is the Pueblo Area Agency on Aging. Like all Agencies, or "AAA's - this agency exists to offer a neutral, unbiased source of support for seniors, families and caregivers. Service offered include: Home Delivered Meals; Senior Transportation; Long-Term Care Ombudsman Support; Congregate Meals - and a wide variety of other programs and services.
This agency helps to support seniors still living independently, at home, as well as seniors living in a structured care environment in Pueblo, such as assisted living. Intro by D. Besnette

***Want in on a cool little secret? A great way to see a recent photo of each of the facilities below is to check out the 'street view image' of the facility. To do this, just select the 'Map' link for each facility below, and you will be taken to a map page, where you'll see a photo, and can take a 'virtual drive' down the street that the facility in Pueblo is located on! This is a great way to see how 'nice' (or not) the neighborhood is, and to see what a facility looks like!
**Looking for More? The State of Colorado offers an excellentfacility search tool through their 'Health Facilities' website, as offered through the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Users can search for facilities by county, city, and by payment options, such as Medicaid or Private Pay. This tool also displays who is the owner or administrator of each facility, including the capacity or number of beds.
