Montana has a higher than national average of residents who are over the age of 65. Currently, 13.9% of Montana residents are seniors. The US average is 12.4%. Currently, there are over 131,000 seniors in Montana. This number will most certainly rise in the coming years, as well as the need for assisted living and long term care in Montana . Montana also has a unique challenge in that many areas of the state are quite remote, and assisted living facilities or senior care may not be accessible to many seniors in these areas. This page lists several assisted living and senior care options in Montana, each with varying degrees of services and amenities.
