Assisted Living Tidbits
We have recently spent some time learning how to make assisted living facility videos more interesting. We stopped by a local assisted living facility and did some test shots of the exterior of the facility comparing still shots, to motion shots. Hands down, we feel that the motion shots are much more fun to look at, and more interesting for the viewer.
Marketing your facility can be a daunting task, since there is so much competition in the assisted living niche. As our Baby-boomers have started hitting retirement age, the number of facilities that will be popping up will increase dramatically.
Facilities will need to utilize video, and outlets such as Youtube to help get the word out about their facility and services. Videos will need to stand out - and capture your audience it you wish to convert those visits into residents.
We hope our video tutorial will help spur your creativity, and will help you to create interesting and captivating videos for your facility!
Update - we are in the process of re-doing our slider video at the facility we mentioned above. In the meantime, we have a video of some outdoor slider shots that we are using.

How do I get my mother into one of these assisted living places. They look adorable, and she would be so close to myself. She is currently at Autumn Oaks in Slinger, and doing quite well, but things have changed out there and I live in West Bend -Tracy.
My parents are living in an assisted living in Bayside but I would like to check on prices for a 2 bedroom apartment in West Bend for them - closer to my brother and myself. My mother is diabetic and had a stroke in 2008. Her speech was affected but she is able to do her own laundry and take care of herself except medication and cooking. My dad has Parkinson's. He is able to give himself medications and take care of himself.
